Since some of you are new here, I thought that I'd take some time to introduce myself. My name is Shanna Glover, and I'm the owner of Peak Semantics, LLC. I operate my business out of my home in Casper, Wyoming; however, I work with clients throughout the United States and internationally.
Here are a few things that you probably didn't know about me:
I'm a half marathoner. I've been hooked on running ever since I joined cross country in middle school. I competed in cross country and track in high school and even ran at the collegiate level. Now, I run half marathons and hope to complete a marathon some day.
I'm a cancer survivor. In December 2021, I noticed a small lump on my lymph node and was later diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. I finished chemotherapy in June 2022 and am so grateful to be able to do the things I love again.
I'm an outdoor enthusiast. Whenever I have some free time, you'll probably find me enjoying the outdoors. I'm lucky to live near some amazing trails, so I go hiking or snowshoeing almost every week.
I have two miniature dachshunds. We welcomed Oliver into our family shortly before I was diagnosed with cancer. Although it was difficult having a puppy at home during treatment, he always knew when something was wrong and tried to comfort me. We adopted a second dachshund named Dexter in September.
I enjoy traveling. I haven't traveled much since the pandemic started, but I plan on traveling a lot more in the near future. My favorite trip so far was hiking 212 miles on the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route in Spain.
